Tshisa Talent are discovering some amazing artists and helping them with their careers, thanks to funding from the National Lotteries Commission.

Are you aware of the music of wonderful artists that Tshisa Talent is uncovering? Have you heard their music? Do you, for instance, know about Main Fact?

The group called Mainfact represent today’s lifestyle and the morals and the values of the people within their community. They sing and rap about their experiences within the township and focus on some serious issues. They bring to light facts that are hidden such as alcohol abuse, unemployment and undiscovered talents. They communicate their Vision for a better future which is to share and inspire everyone through music. They want the Nation and the World to take notice. This is why Avela Bongoza (AV The Rapper), Xolile Nkosana (Blaq Mask) and Luthando Madoda (1st Wonder) formed Main Fact in late 2015. Their ultimate aim is to share the stage with international artists, be independent, generate and manage our own royalties.

Tshisa Talent, with the valuable funding received from National Lotteries Commission are proud to have been instrumental in helping these youngsters to reach for their dreams through Workshops on how to use social media, branding, professionalism and goal setting. This led to them starting their own mini backroom studio and the release of their album, Phakama. “We are grateful to Tshisa Talent for taking us on roadshows, paying for our studio time, organizing and paying for some valuable experience through live gigs, organizing workshops for us, helping us to register with SAMRO and recently paying for our music video. We are looking forward and very excited about another workshop with one of Freshly Ground keyboard players!, said Avela.
